Berkeley and Steven’s wedding at Maderas Golf Club with the most talented Joy of Bloom Florals was one of the most heartfelt weddings that left me so teary! The morning of the wedding, Berkeley’s Catholic father and Steven’s Jewish father united together to gift their children the most heartfelt offering- a chuppah built with their own hands. The chuppah was then covered in distant drums, toffee roses, quicksand roses, delphinium, chrysanthemums, butterfly ranunculus, lisianthus, amaranthus, and southern smilax by Berkeley’s close friend, Rachel with Joy of Bloom Florals. The combination gave the most beautiful wedding day color palette of greens, pinks and yellows. The multicultural ceremony involved a unity candle lighting and prayers by both the rabbi and priest over the couple. The bridesmaids wore sleek green dresses designed to complement the southern smilax filled chuppah.
